From our humble beginnings with a single truck and 500 pallets, we've grown to serve over 500 active customers across Ohio and beyond, processing more than 1 million pallets annually through our six strategically located facilities.

How We Started
In 2009, Robert Martinez saw an opportunity: Ohio manufacturers were paying premium prices for new pallets while perfectly good used pallets were being thrown away. He started Columbus Pallets with a simple pickup truck, buying pallets from local warehouses and reselling them to small businesses.
Word spread quickly about our quality and fair pricing. Within two years, we outgrew our first facility and moved to our current Columbus headquarters. By 2015, we had expanded to three locations and launched our comprehensive recycling program.
Today, we operate six facilities across Ohio, employ over 50 team members, and serve more than 500 active customers. But our core values haven't changed: quality products, fair prices, and exceptional service for every customer.

First Warehouse
Moved into our first dedicated facility - a 10,000 sq ft warehouse in Columbus with capacity for 15,000 pallets.
Repair Services Launch
Added professional pallet repair services, extending pallet life and reducing customer costs by up to 50%.
Zero-Landfill Achieved
Launched comprehensive recycling program. Every pallet component now recycled or repurposed - zero waste to landfill.
Cleveland Expansion
Opened Cleveland distribution center to serve Northeast Ohio manufacturing corridor and extend reach to Pennsylvania.

ISPM-15 Certification
Achieved heat treatment certification for international export compliance. Installed facilities in Columbus and Cleveland.
